We Don't Blame Christianity

This is an entry for March Blog of the Month Competition.
Bloodshed has no religion. Terrorism has no religion. Racism has no religion. Xenophobia has no religion. These are all psychological issues created by mankind.
A little boy of 5 years who loved watching aeroplanes flying in the sky, whose aim was to become a pilot in the future- one day, a bunch of planes flew over his head and bombed half of his city. Traumatized by the chaos, the boy was told to never look for aeroplanes except with terror.
A mother sends his child to school praying for his safety, waiting for his return and at the end of the day receiving his dead body with a story of terrorism and brutality.
A young child- watching her own family get shot down in front of her eyes.
A father- helplessly watching his family being tortured and kidnapped.
A family- forced to live in an incarceration camp.
A young boy- getting murdered on his way home after receiving his degree.
Houses getting burned, bodies getting incarcerated, target killing, blood running in streets as a mark that mankind has lost its value beyond that of animals.
And this is the picture of half of our globe.
Here is the point. This world can never become free of terror and bloodshed, a place of tranquility and beauty. Never! That is the quality of Jannah. Allah has revealed in Quran that when He took the opinion of Angels on creating human beings they replied, he will cause bloodshed in the world. It is a fact. They will and are doing it. But the point is where do we stand? How are we impacting the society? What is our response?
In a world that's trying to make us hate others, judge others and not care about others, learn to be merciful and compassionate. Be tolerant. Be the one showing kindness not just in bad times but in all times. Love will always overcome all, and our mercy and compassion will always be the biggest antidote to bigotry and xenophobia that the world is facing.
The way in which the world has now taught us to be ready to return to Allah at any moment is really brutal. We don't have the luxury to bury our heads in the sand. We have to begin, as people of faith, from our faith. Engage yourselves in Salah, don't miss your daily sitting with the Quran and your morning and evening Adhkar. Prepare yourself to meet our Lord and ensure your place in His Jannah. May Allah grant us a blessed ending. Ameen.
