Blasphemy of Love

* This is an entry for the June Blog of the Month Competition PRAYER: noun/BrE/preə(r);word origin: middle english;from old french preire, based on Latin precarius 'obtained by entreaty', from prex, prec-'prayer'. Synonym: plea ; Meaning: an earnest wish. It had been ages since the soil had tasted dew. Time had made the green age into browns. Lips were parched, throats dry, still there was no sign of rain. From where I was sitting, I could see a blazing sun, who himself looked ashamed as he had nothing to hide his nudity, no clouds, still… by the small window of a house nearby, sat a little girl  her face bathed in the sun's gold. While i gazed at her tiny form, the passing wind mocked me. With every blink of her lashes,I trembled, fearing her gaze. She had read me, her blue orbs which held the purity of the oceans, so paradoxical to the scenario around her, reciprocated my gaze with an expression I could not comprehend. Pushing away the thought I mo

Prayers

* This is an entry for the June Blog of the Month Competition In times of distress, many of us make attempts to find solutions in the very dunya that actually caused that calamity to  us. We look for temporary comforts in worldly objects which have the potential to break us again. On the other hand , some of us find relief in medication and counselling. These too are not useful after some time. Some of us surround ourselves with sympathetic ears and simply lose hope. At the end we derail from the righteous path.  Allah rabbul izzat has provided us with the best relief of all-Prayer : "And seek help through patience and prayer and indeed, it is difficult except for the humbly submissive (to Allah)" Quran. Chapter 2,verse 45 So, He is the Almighty, the Creator and the Sustainer of this universe. So who better to seek ease from pain and hardship than Him? Who better to call upon than Him? Prayers heal magically. Allah SWT says "Unquestionably, by

* This is an entry for the June Blog of the Month Competition Prayer: the best gift which the creator has bestowed upon His creation. The most alluring thing about prayer is that everyone is this world prays. Whether  you call Him Buddha, God or Bhagwan ; He answers everyone. Prayer has a special importance in a Muslim's life as prayer is the most powerful weapon for a Muslim. Whenever we are distressed or disappointed we pray because we know that He is the listener of hearts. No matter we pray by opening our hands or placing our heads on grounds, it consoles us. Prayers can turn the most hopeless situations of our lives to most beautiful situations. Prayers can make the impossible things happen but who prays ought to have a strong faith. The prayer of Ibrahim(A.S) made the fire cold; the prayer of Hazrat Hajira made the water spring out, the prayer of Musa(A.S) made pharaoh drowned up in the sea, and the prayer of P.B.U.H made Muslims victors despite of their little strength

Prayer, a Divine Bond

* This is an entry for the June Blog of the Month Competition Silent whispers through the air spinning up high Followed by lusters in the sky Reaching across throughout the trees Creating a beautiful scene Shining beyond what man knows Lightning such darkness These are prayers that cut down the shadows of despair. - Medison        We all offer prayers ever day. We have plenty of our wishes we tell Allah every day. We are happy when prayers are heard and sad when we don't get results of our prayers, isn't it so? But have you ever thought what does the word Prayer means; what it signifies and why we all put our so much faith in it? Word prayer means communion, talk, supplication. Prayer is a communication process that allows us to talk to Allah! He wants us to communicate with Him, like a person-to-person phone call. Cell phones and other devices have become a necessity in today’s society. We have smartphones, Bluetooth devices and computers! These are mean

* This is an entry for the June Blog of the Month Competition "I was always there for you but you failed to see me," said Ahmed. He was holding her hand and telling her how he had waited for her and  now how he would alleviate her pain and make her the happiest person alive. She was amazed to hear these words. And suddenly she woke up from the dream. She was having these disturbing dreams for a long time now. She would always see herself getting married to Ahmed in her dreams. It was Fajar time when she woke up. She tried to untie the knot and thought to stand up for prayer but she bowed down to her nafs and slept. The sun shone brilliantly and the green grass wet with the dew welcomed her with all of its softness into a new day where she could define her new priorities and reorganize her thoughts to start something new. She was engrossed in scrolling the news feed and thinking why my life is so hollow. She put her phone aside and was thinking about the dream.

* This is an entry for the June Blog of the Month Competition Prayer is one of the central elements of Islamic practice. Indeed, it is the 2nd of the five pillars of Islam. As a Muslim we believe that there is none worthy of worship except Allah (SWT) alone yet when it comes to following HIS (SWT) commands of offering prayers five times a day, we’ll throw our hands up and wonder about the time this must take we forget the purpose of our creation as in the Holy Quran Allah (SWT) says: “And I did not create man…except to worship Me Alone” (Quran 51:56) Prayer is first and foremost response to this divine directive to worship Allah (SWT).Prayer is also called “SALAH” .one of the origin of Salat is root word “silat ” which means “connector “or “contact” as it connects the servant with HIS Creator. Prayer at fixed times serves as a reminder of why we are here and helps to direct a person onto the remembrance of Allah (SWT). Once a man asked the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ abut the most vi

The Comprehensive USMLE Guide For Pakistani Medical Students (Part 3: Types of USCE)

USCE: United States Clinical Experience, it's a general term that covers any clinical experience in USA. Externship is an organized training program designed by hospitals and medical institutes to train "externs" by familiarizing them with the US medical care system without allowing them to interfere with patient management. You might be allowed to take patient history and perhaps examine patients and write patient notes under guidance. The program usually follows certain rules likes timing, schedules, assignments, insurance liability requirements, etc. Most externship programs do not pay externs and many of them do require fees to be paid by the trainee in order to enroll in the externship program for certain duration. The term hands-on clinical experience usually refers to externship. Because externship is thought to be more effective than observership in getting students and grads into the US health care system, many commercial companies took advantage of thi
