True Love
True love.
What could it be?
Sat there for times to write something about it, always thought it's not going to work out.
Well, I was not told to actually tell the "definition" of true love. So, giving it a go!
Roaming around the world, we are always finding for peace of mind- intentionally or unintentionally. Sometimes we won't admit that we want someone to love us. We do. We always do. Well, this need is never going to be fulfilled. How can it be when I can't find love in things that were designed for me and when I can't love them the same way I want to be loved.
Actually, do you know what love is?
It's when you don't let the people around you, down. When you see them, they make you feel happy, contented. When you stop caring about what's in the pocket over their chest, rather care about what's underneath that, which is the heart.
It is when you do the smallest things for them. Am I going towards worldly love? Well, be clear, this could be a part of either- The spiritual love or the other one. Let me be crystal clear, "the other one" does not tag the love that Bollywood has pictured in our brains.
The true love is not when you go home and receive a bouquet of flowers having a nice cute card with some cheesy lines. It's when you return home actually feeling hopeless to live, frustrated at what people did to you all day, and then there's someone who listens to you, your cruel, harsh words as a fruit of seed of bitterness sown into you by life. They believe in you when even you don't believe in yourself. They'll tell you to keep going. Ladies! Bear this in mind, if there's a love you feel like you have found, if it makes you feel broken, giving up on life, feel like dying, then this is not the one.
Love is what makes you more powerful than ever. It makes you shine bright like the sun so people can't look at you with eyes wide open. It brings out the best in you.
The true love doesn't make you vulnerable to them or anyone. Instead, they'll teach you to be so strong that no one stands a chance against you. Can we just take a moment to appreciate that this all is given by the love of Allah? See, it's the biggest of all the loves and affections.
When you can't love the one who made you, Who knows the worst of you and the flaws of you while you're being the best for the world, accepts the smallest things you do for Him, appreciates you, and knows you whether you speak out or not, are you even eligible to love someone else? When God created us, he blew a part of His soul into us.
If you find that essence in a human, hold onto it, never let it go. It's the one. You've found the one.
