The Definition of True Love
It’s high time we change the meaning of “L.O.V.E.” The entire world defines love as this “intense feeling of deep affection.” It is a feeling, something that everyone might have felt at least once in their lifetime.
But, having spent years and years in this world, one thing is for sure, love isn’t a feeling. It is much, much more. All the gen Xers need to know that true love is an enacted emotion, it is to feel and act accordingly.
One can have strong feelings about the opposite gender, and a young girl or boy may feel that he/she is unable to live without the other person, but that doesn’t mean you love that so and so.
As a human being, love is a highly relational term. You can love things, and people, that do not love you back. You can love a place, a game of chess, but people have mostly been directional. There is always a beloved and one lover, where you target your energies. True Love is when one person wholly believes in another person and shows it in every possible way and manner.
