Single, Ready to Mingle?

"Single, Ready to Mingle!"

I read this statement somewhere while browsing the other day and I was super amazed! I've never been in a relationship before but that doesn't bother me even one bit.
Being single doesn't mean being alone. Maybe you haven't found the right person yet, or maybe you consider yourself enough for now. As I read somewhere,
"Single is not a status. It is a word that describes a person who's strong enough to enjoy life without depending upon others."
From people desperate to switch their relationship status to "taken", to those who have never cared about the thought of being in a relationship, I think the latter ones are better. This is not because I'm an advocate of singlehood, but because these relationships are toxic, temporary and end up in mere heartbreaks.
Being single, on the other hand, gives you complete freedom to be yourself, to explore the hidden "you"! Bringing joy to yourself and cherishing who you are is way more important and easier than being committed and striving to keep someone else happy.
As I've already said, being single doesn't mean being alone. You get to:
▪️Spend more time with yourself
▪️Explore your limits
▪️Have that "Me Time"
▪️Focus on yourself, your career, ambitions and goals!
You're single? It's not the end! You're still loved, and you have your family and friends- who want to know you better and who'll be there when you need them. You still can experience everything in life. Singlehood itself is a feeling, an experience! You are not limited by anything. You can be anything! Everything!
It's okay to feel lonely sometimes. You need someone to share yourself with but that someone can be your friend or anyone (Relationships aren't necessary).
So, the art of being single is simple:
Love yourself and prioritize your needs before catering someone else's. Enjoy who you are for now and let time take its course.
"If you can't enjoy being single, how can you enjoy being with someone else?"
